Since its birth in 2001 agile has steadily grown in popularity, infiltrating all aspects of the SDLC - from the way we define the requirements for the software we are going to build (see Dilbert J) to the way in which we test the desired functionality and ultimately track on the work that is being done.

However, as we all know talking about agile and successfully implementing it are two very different things. The aim of this blog is to pass on some of the knowledge we have learnt whilst implementing agile ourselves and through talks with our customers to help you as readers better understand the complexities and challenges of agile and hopefully offer some thoughts around how these challenges can be overcome.

The blog will touch upon agile from a variety of aspects from how the change to agile needs to be managed from an organizational perspective to the communication between DEV and QA to how new types of applications accelerate the need for successful agile.

We would really like for this to be an interactive blog and would love to hear your thoughts on the things we post.

Some of the upcoming posts include:

  • - Modern Quality Management
  • - Agile from the Enterprise Architect Perspective
  • - Performance Sprinting

We look forward to your comments.

Thanks

The Agile Team
