I am still not sure of the value of AR using twitter (for one thing don't expect someone to follow you back just because you work in AR), but the community is growing. I personally use twitter as a research tool to keep abreast of what is happening in software development and architecture. I get other value from twitter, but the clearest "corporate" value is surely the extended research network.

I also know for a fact that our community tends to try tools we recommend, which is as clear a pattern of influence as i can think of.

Twitter is part of our daily work, the ebb and flow of evaluation, news and trend, glue for the community that makes redmonk smarter than we could ever be based on our size.

"three hours have passed – that’s $30 of HP’s revenue at the hourly rate for AR Managers.

$10 an hour? i can only assume that's a joke or a typo.

But really if you want to work with us, just get in touch. Twitter is just a proxy. HP traditionally doesn't focus much attention on the boutique firms, in my experience. We'd be more than happy to talk to you on the phone, or face to face. The internet doesn't replace Relations roles, or traditional influence channels, it augments them.

Twitter's real value is in its functioning as a listening, rather than a broadcast, engine.

Smart Web Printing won't automatically load if you have customized your browser in the past. Once installed, go to your browser's tool bar, right click and click on "customize." Add HP Smart Select to your tool bar. For those not familiar with this product, go to http://h71036.www7.hp.com/hho/cache/482779-0-0-225-121.html?jumpid=hpr_R1002_USEN

It came without the HP Advisor not installed. The HP EAsy Backup button on the CPU does not work. Online, the support tech gave me a link to download HP Advisor and I did. The Backup option does not work. It says "not available". I called support and spent Sunday afternoon on the phone with them. Nothing got resolved. They told me that I should do a backup and everything would work. Not so. One of the main reasons I purchased this computer was for the Backup button. A Case MGR named Richard S. contacted me and his attitude was awful. He couldn't care less about my problem. He had a one track mind........re-install.....recover. I don't want to do this, because I do not want to go back to the factory settings. I spent alot of time installing things and I do not want to repeat this. I had to uninstall Norton which was causing WORD and OUTLOOK to hang and freeze. People have told me to "just forget it and accept it". I can't do this......I paid for something that I did not receive. I want some sort of compensation for this. My case number is
8011143345
Thank you
