Hello everyone. I’ve had to put a bit of a pause on the “Colour Control Options (Part 3) – Driver Controls” because of some changes (good ones) that will become clear shortly. I realised it’s been a month since my last post, so I wanted to do another video tutorial as a treat (or punishment, I don’t have the world’s best narrative voice). This one focuses on the new features we’ve added in firmware for the M, CM and some of the previous series devices. It used to be that speed dials an address books had to be edited manually at the control panels.
Here are the devices that will look similar to the way I’m configuring in the demo:
· HP LaserJet M3027mfp, M3035mfp, M4345mfp, M5025mfp, M5035mfp
· Color LaserJet CM4730mfp
You can do a lot of similar things with these devices as well, but the screens may look a little different:
· HP LaserJet 4345mfp, 9040mfp, 9050mfp
· HP Color LaserJet 4730mfp, 9500mfp
Important: Regardless of the device, make sure you update your firmware to get these new features.
So be sure to update that firmware and enjoy. If there other types of tutorials you’d like me to cover, please let me know. Depending on just how early I can do the Color Control Options, I might do one around Authentication if that makes sense.
