It would have been great if you had included any indication here of what Storage Essentials is. I have no idea, and although you include lots of links, I have to follow them to see if I should be interested in this.

Hi Stephen - thanks for that feedback.  Sometimes in our HP bubbles, we think everyone out there knows what our products are.   If we had included the whole product name (HP Storage Essentials Storage Resource Management software) that would have given you a clue too.

And if you didn't know, SE is the product that resulted from HP's acquisition of AppIQ several years ago.

Does Storage Essentials support management of Lefthand SANs (including Performance pack, etc.)?  If not, any plans for future integration?  

Also, is there a similar paper for Storage Essentials and Windows 2008 R2 Hyper-V?

It sounds like you're an HP Storage Essentials customer.  I've asked the product manager to answer your question but I'm sure you understand that we can't share confidential information on the blog.  I'd suggest that you ask your question to your HP representative.  If we can share any more publicly, the product manager will add his comments here.
