VP Worldwide Sales and Services
Hi all. Just want to take a few minutes to share some exciting news. Today,
HP is announcing that it has been placed in the Leaders Quadrant
in Gartner’s Magic Quadrants for Managed Print Services Worldwide. For
those of you not familiar with the Magic Quadrant – it positions vendors
according to their "ability to execute" and their "completeness of vision" in
managed print services. We believe being positioned in the Leaders Quadrant in
the Magic Quadrant is extremely important as sometimes this one report could
help determine which vendor a potential customer selects.
You may be asking yourself what exactly does ability to execute and
completeness of vision mean? Here’s how Gartner defines both:
1. Completeness of vision - This axis reflects each MPS provider's prospects
for success by analyzing its view of the market, its service operating model,
and its strategic plans for growth and service improvements.
2. Execution - Gartner evaluates vendors in part on the quality of the
products and services that enable their performance to be competitive, efficient
and effective, and to have a positive impact on revenue, retention and
reputation.
I should point out that Gartner says those who are positioned in the Leaders
quadrant provide MPS to a wide range of customers, including the largest and
most geographically dispersed, so they must demonstrate a truly global reach.
They must demonstrate not only the skills to deliver today's MPS, but also the
understanding, initiative and resources to prepare for tomorrow's. Leaders
characteristically augment the full scope of MPS with a wide range of
added-value services
And that defines HP managed print services. Our managed print services help
our customers streamline management, minimize costs, maximize results, and
contribute to environmental sustainability goals. Our customers continuously
tell us about the benefits they see with HP MPS and we are poised to continue to
deliver industry-leading managed print services well into the future.
We are very proud of this accomplishment. I personally would like to
recognize all of the hard work from the people at HP, and our partners and
customers, in reaching this milestone. But this doesn’t mean we’ll be taking a
rest. You’ll continue to see innovation from us in our portfolio of hardware,
supplies, software and services to help our customers gain a cost-effective,
productivity-enhancing imaging and printing environment.
That’s it for now. Be sure to check back often for more exciting news from
HP.
