I wanted to share some exciting HP news stemming from a recent Gartner Report. HP is announcing its placement in the Leaders Quadrant of the Magic Quadrant for Multifunction Products and Printers. This comes on the heels of the MPS Magic Quadrant where HP was also placed in the Leaders Quadrant.

As a brief re-cap for those that might not be familiar, the Magic Quadrant positions vendors according to their “ability to execute” and their “completeness of vision.” These reports are highly valued in the industry, and we believe securing this position in the Leaders Quadrant reinforces our overall value to current customers as well as potential customers looking to select HP as a vendor.

So what exactly are the factors that Gartner assesses to qualify vendors for placement in the magic quadrant? Vendors are assessed on criteria including: products or services, sales execution and pricing, market responsiveness and track record, marketing execution, customer experience, offering strategy, business model, and geographic strategy.

We consider our placement as a leader to be a great accomplishment and again, I credit the hard work from our people at HP, our partners and our customers. We will continue to push ahead, setting industry leading standards and further building and strengthening our portfolio.
