The International Society for Technology in Education (www.iste.org) has been hosting a series of "Technology in Practice" (TIP) webinars (www.iste.org/webinars). The topics look quite interesting...
The webinar scheduled for next week is on "Teaching with 2nd Life in Middle School" (Aug 26). For those of you interested in addressing the needs of students with learning disabilities, check out "Revolutionizing Instruction for Autistic Students Utilizing Interactive Whiteboards" (Sep 17). I also thought the upcoming webinar on "Gaming in Education" (Apr 21, 2009) would be of interest to many of you. Even though the primary audience for these webinars is pre-college educators, I think the presentations and discussions may quite valuable and interesting.
Hope to "see" some of you at an upcoming webinar!
