The numbers (profits up 51% in the last quarter compared to last year, pretax margin of almost 18%) tell only part of the story. As a veteran of several startups, I can tell you that in his 10,000 person group, there is as much energy and excitement as I have seen in my career. &lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The article does not discuss IT infrastructure management, but it does give an idea about the strategy of HP software. &lt;/p&gt;
