Happy holidays to all. My SOA wish for 2009: as you embark on your SOA journey, may you get the support and funding needed to build out the skills, expertise and processes that will make your SOA projects hum… and on that note, I have written a little ditty (note --tongue firmly planted in cheek), …. The 12 days of SOA (shortened to the final verse)

On the twelfth day of Christmas,
my SOA sent to me….

Twelve business services,
Eleven lifecycle policies,

Ten service tests,

Nine requests for consumption,

Eight management reports,

Seven lifecycle stages,

Six approval checkpoints,

Five S-L-As, (drawn out for emphasis)

Four service proxies,

Three enterprise architects,

Two business sponsors,

And the funding to build a COE
