Product Spokespersons - The Changing Face of Digital Media & Marketing -
Product Spokespersons

I was coming into work this morning, tuning the radio to a station which suited my mood, when I again heard a familiar voice on the radio….

It was Paul Harvey. Certainly in my view “the big dog on the porch” when it comes it being a radio product spokesperson. I’m sure you’ve heard him giving his daily news broadcasts, or telling “the rest of the story” and of course signing off with that familiar… “Paul Harvey…………Good Day!”

Mr. Harvey has to be in him 80’s now, but his voice and broadcasting skills are just as crystal clear as the first time I remember hearing him riding with my brother in the back of my Mom’s VW Beetle.

But what makes Mr. Harvey absolutely the top in his game, is his truly one-to-one communication style that allows him to connect with every individual listener. I mean, I feel like the guy is sitting right next to me, having a conversation. And he’s telling me about his experience with the Bose Wave Radio or with the vitamins he takes daily to help him stay fit.

And it’s truly this remarkable gift of communicating one-on-one which makes Paul Harvey better than anyone out there today. You don’t feel like you’re being sold, but rather that a good old friend is just giving you some insights on what they’ve purchased. Basically, his personal endorsement.

Heck, I’ve never met Mr. Harvey. But would I buy a Bose Radio? Just check out my living room.
