New Blogging Stats from e-Marketer - The Changing Face of Digital Media & Marketing -
New Blogging Stats from e-Marketer

Saw this recent post from e-Marketer on blogging …. the statistics are staggering.  E-marketer estimates that in 2009, 96.6 million internet users in the US will read a blog at least once a month.  That’s amazing… to think that many people want to interact with once another.

In 2013, e-Marketer estimates the number to increase to 128.2M or 58% of all US internet users.

For those who think social media is a fad – I would recommend you “wake up & smell the coffee.”  People are communicating in a completely different way through the world’s largest connection engine – the internet.

Scott - We think when the recession dust settles, an even bigger share of marketing spend will go to programs with clearly defined and measurable objectives.  The performance of social media can be measured and, as this capability matures, future marketing programs will be reshaped.
