So long Canada... on to AppSec/NYC!

To everyone who attended one of the workshops in either Ottawa or Montreal in the last 2 days - thank you for coming, and I hope you got everything you wanted out of it.  If you missed it - we covered the following topics:

  • Web Application Security background and history
  • Basics of Web Application Security (what the concepts are, how they're exploited, what it means to you)
  • Offense/Defense of hacking
  • Answering the "OK, now what?!" question

Remember - if you want the presentation, you have to email me (or Luc)!  I can't post presentations (or anything) on this blog, sorry!

As for AppSec '08 NYC... I'm flying in Wednesday morning and can't wait to meet up with everyone I've been talking to for a while...

 See you there?

Hello Rafal, it was a nice presentation, thank you! I got a question regarding one of the tools you were using, what was the proxy name you used to be able to pentest/send form variables and let it go in your browser (is it freely available?) ? I used Paros but I'd like to compare both..

Thank you,

Jean-Michel
