While not directly tied to Web Application Security this topic is interesting because it deals a blow to poorly-registered (and improperly setup) domains - possibly aiding in things like phishing and other criminal activities.
ICANN has updated the WDPRS (Whois Data Problem Reporting System) to better allow people to report domains with invalid or incorrect WHOIS entries. If you've fought to take down a domain, or tried to investigate who owns a particular domain (to potentially assist in helping recover someone's hacked domain) this will be an invaluable tool.
